Experiential Events are Making a Comeback: Here’s Why

Exciting rides, clever games and delicious concessions have always been known to serve up a fun time no matter your age. Now there is a new emphasis on events that can touch all of our senses, since people are craving connection and deeper engagement with each other. With the great advances in AI and other technology, there is a growing realization that we all want to start having a good time again in order to carve out even a small sense of peace in a rapidly changing world.

Corporations are seeing a high demand for in-person events to help overcome what employees are terming “Zoom” fatigue. Much of the day to day spontaneity has been taken out of the workplace and have been replaced by endless meetings. Holding an event for your company is a great way to allow workers to connect while being in a relaxed environment where the day to day pressures don’t exist. Some companies even hold these types of events and invite customers so that in-person networking can take place and better trust is established.

As Fortis reports, “according to current industry trends, in-person events are making a major comeback. 86.4% of organizers aim to maintain or boost the number of in-person events in 2025 compared to 2024. Additionally, 52.1% of organizers have seen a rise in attendance over the past year. This resurgence reflects the growing demand for face-to-face collaboration, networking opportunities, and immersive brand experiences that virtual events often struggle to replicate.”
